Pattern IV of the A Natural Minor scale covers frets 12–15 and has root notes on the 5th string and the 3rd string. The b6 (F) appears prominently here on both the 6th and 4th strings — it's the interval that gives the Natural Minor its distinctly darker, more dramatic character compared to the Pentatonic.
